The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit
The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Nasoore Ole Sapit hails from Narok County and is married to Mama Esther Sapit. He was baptized in 1977. He attended his primary and secondary School in Narok County. In 1985, he was confirmed and served as an evangelist and community worker in his home county.
He joined the Berea Theological College, Nakuru in 1989 to pursue a diploma in Theology. In 1991 he was ordained as Deacon in 1991 and priested in 1992. He worked as Vicar at the ACK Belgut Parish in the Diocese of Nakuru from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, he joined the St. Paul’s University for a degree in Divinity. He also got a Certificate of Research/Consultancy from Daystar University in 1999.
From 1997 to 2002, he worked as the Vicar and project manager at the Trans Mara Rural Development Program in Kilgoris Parish, in the Diocese of Kericho. He went to the University of Reading, England and pursued a Master’s Degree in Social Development and Sustainable Livelihoods in 2003. He was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Global University for lifelong Learning in California.
He served as the Diocesan Mission and Development Coordinator at the ACK Diocese of Nakuru before being consecrated as suffragan Bishop of the Diocese of Kericho. He was later on consecrated as the Diocesan Bishop of The Diocese in 2008. He was elected as the Archbishop on the 20th of May 2016 and thereafter consecrated on the 3rd of July 2016. The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit is committed to building the church and ensuring holistic growth among around the growth. He launched his strategic Plan 2018-2027 that he intends to use to drive the Church’s agenda is social transformation in the country.
The Rt. Rev. Joseph Kibucwa
The Rt. Rev. Joseph Kibucwa is the Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Kirinyaga. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Science) from Moi University and a Bachelor of Arts in Divinity from St. Paul’s University, Bishop Kibucwa has in the past worked as a teacher, Diocesan Development and Lay Training Secretary and as the Provost ACK St. Thomas Cathedral and Archdeacon of Cathedral Archdeaconry in the Kirinyaga Diocese.
Mr. Bwibo Adieri
Bwibo has a wide experience in Programs as well as Organizational Development, leadership and management spanning over 20 years. He holds an MBA from the University of Nairobi and several certificates in program management and corporate governance. He has worked with many established organizations such as the National Council of Churches of Kenya, Hope For African Children Initiative and Plan International.
The Rt. Reverend, Julius Karanu
The Rt. Reverend, Julius Karanu is the Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Murang’a South. He serves on the Board of the ADS Mt. Kenya region as a Director.
Dr. Norman Kiambi
Canon Kiambi is a professional Accountant and has served in various capacities in the development sector including as the Regional Finance Director of Practical Action Eastern Africa. He is currently the Treasurer of ACK Nairobi Diocese, Chairman of Maridadi Fabrics, Finance Director with Women for Women International and Vice-Chairman Biblia Sacco.
Prof. William Ogara
Prof William Otiende Ogara has over 25 years of experience in both the financial and Civil Society sector. He has worked with Price water house Coopers as an auditor, CORAT Africa as the Executive Director for consultancy and research and currently, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Leadership Renewal Africa
Mr. Wycliffe Temesi
Canon Temesi holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi. He is a fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA. He is qualified as a Director of Public Companies; and a certified Lead Quality Auditor by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
He is a council member of the St. Paul’s University, Limuru and a member of the Training and Development Committee of ICPAK
Samwel Omondi Ochieng
Samwel Omondi is the Executive Director of ADS Nyanza Region. He is a holder of Master of Science in Community Health and Development of the Great Lakes University of Kisumu, a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology of the University of Nairobi and Higher Diploma in Community Health and Development of the Tropical Institute of Community Health and Development and Certified in Gender trainings and Counselling.
He has vast experience of over 20 years in Strategy Development, Management of Consortiums of organisations and resource mobilization, Monitoring, evaluation and researchHas held various Board Directorships amongst them the Board of Social Services of the Anglican Church of Kenya Countrywide, Kenya Community Based Health Financing outfit, Great Lakes University of Kisumu Bishop Okullu Campus Board and Chairman of Various School Boards of Management Previously worked as a Hospital Administrator, Gender Cordinator covering the entire country and a Program Manager charged with among other Designing community interventions providing oversight and advice for successful implementation of programs.
Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph D Galgalo
Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph D Galgalo is the Provincial Secretary of the Anglican Church of Kenya. Prof. Galgalo is also an Assistant Bishop in the ACK Diocese of All Saints. He holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from the University of Cambridge, UK.
He has experience spanning over 20 years in teaching, supervision, research, mentorship and administration at the university level. He served as the Head of the Department in the Faculty of Theology, at St. Paul’s University (2003 – 2006) and later as the Dean of the Faculty of Theology (2006 – 2010) before he was appointed to the position of the University’s Vice Chancellor, a role he has held from 2010 to 2020.
He has a keen interest in inter-contextual and contextual theologies and theological education. His research interests include developments in contextual theologies, especially African Christianity, inculturation Christologies, Theological Education and Church Relations.
