Climate Change

We work with other stakeholders to build community Capacities in Climate change adaptation. This is because of the current climate change trends which have an impact on the country’s ability to address her food security challenges. This is also meant to ensure that the country addresses these changes in a way that protects what already exists. Through the regions, Dioceses and sister departments, we champion the conservation of the environment through initiatives like the Green Anglicans and other Conservation movements. We encourage communities to plant more trees, adopt renewable sources of energies and ensure proper waste management.

We seek to develop strategies on policy influence on Climate Change management, information sharing and demonstration of a deliberate effort to mainstream climate change adaptation in water harvesting, farming methods and value addition.
